Education deprived student, Ali Gholizadeh who was detained yesterday at his father’s home by the Plain Clothes Agents has been transferred to the detention center.
Gholizadeh’s sister said, “Around one thirty in the afternoon three plain clothes officers entered the house without a warrant and took Ali.”
According to Jaras News Agency, she continued: “Ali and my mother were alone in the house and when they tried to call us on the phone to alert us of their presence, the agents revealed their weapons in intimidation and in response to their protest and detained Ali.”
According to this report, Ali has yet to contact his family and the only news is that he has been taken to the branch 903 of the Revolutionary Court under the judiciary of Judge Haidary.
Gholizadeh’s family went to Court today to inquire about their child’s whereabouts and state of affairs.
Gholizadeh, a member of the general council of Society for Fostering Unity (Tahkim Vahdat), graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Shahrood, he then rated 23ed in the national entrance exam and was accepted for a Master’s program at Tehran University. He was however deprived of higher education and joined the ranks of other ‘Starred Students’, Daneshjooyan Setareh Dar, (students who are blacklisted from continuing their education).
