Sina Mehdinia, Babol university student, has been sentenced to 6 months in prison.

Mehdinia had been summoned to serve his sentence in March but since the lower court verdict had not been reviewed, the summons order was postponed.

He had been detained during the Ashura protests of 2009 and was released on bail after 11 months in solitary confinement.
