Mir-Hossein Mousavi, Mehdi Karroubi and their spouses Zahra Rahnavard and Fatemeh Karroubi have been arrested and transferred to the Heshmatieh Prison in Tehran.

Kaleme reports that their transfer to the Heshmatieh Prsion has been confirmed but the exact time is unknown.

 The authorities had remained silent regarding the house arrest and the limitations on Mousavi and Karroubi. Mousavi’s daughters had received conflicting responses when referring to the street where their house is located and were not able to contact their parents. The lights of their houses had been turned off in the past a few days. It appears that the authorities were preventing the disclosure of their location.

SahamNews had also quoted Karroubi’s neighbor and had reported that 8 vans were near Karroubi’s house on Thursday night and had left the location along with a car that came out of the building’s garage.

Reports indicate that dispute the conflicting statements by the authorities, Mousavi, Karroubi and their spouses have been arrested and transferred to the Heshmatieh Prison in Tehran.
