Security forces are having a heavy presence in different parts of the city of Tehran.
While the protesters are planning to hold a memorial for Mohammad Mokhtari and Saneh Jaleh who were both killed during February 14th protests, the security forces are having a heavy presence in different parts of the city.
According to the RAHANA reporter, the security forces have a heavy presence in the major streets of the city such as Sohravardi, Valiasr, Enghelab, Azadi, Haft-Tir, Gisha, etc.
There are also several cars in Azadi street which are believed to be for detaining the citizens.
As of right now, no gathering has taken place and people are coming to the streets.
Security forces were in different parts of the city since last night. Government run media reported that individuals with connections to MKO are planning to disturb the city but did not state why they have not been arrested yet.
Article 27 of the Constitution allows for the freedom of assembly provided that no firearms are used and the Islamic principles are not insulted.
